One of the best games in the choice of games library. The writing is well done, with some solid world building and very memorable dialogue. There are a lot of touch choices you have to make and if you mess up too many times you can lose. It's on you to make the right decisions to balance your kingdom's army, merchants, and mages. I'd say my only complaint is that sometimes it's hard to tell which stat a choice is based on, which is important when it can lead to characters dying.

Excellent! Easily one of my new favorites. The characters are good, romance is very solid, the story flows well and has good pacing. Loved the use of plant magic. The story is also very complete. It hits a natural climax and still makes time for a epilogue that ties everything together. The stat system isnt overly complicated but does require some careful balancing as certain physical and mental skills are complementary as are certain mindsets. Still, Im extremely impressed and demand a sequel.
